PROFESSIONAL STAGING

Each home we sell is given a thorough walk through by our in-house certified stager, Greta Drammeh, in order to determine the best way to present the property to the market. Professional staging places your home in the best possible light by assessing (and adjusting, if needed) aspects of furniture placement, wall colors and even landscaping. Sometimes the way we live in a home is different than the way it is presented to potential buyers.

Years ago, nobody worried about staging their home before putting it on the market. Cleaning the home and hiding the litter box was considered sufficient pre-sale preparation for getting that "For Sale" sign installed.

All of this has changed as more and more home sellers enlist the services of home stagers.  While your home may speak to you, the real question is - what is it saying to your potential buyer?  The goal of staging is to make your home speak to everyone else, in a compelling and positive way.

We want to capture the broadest range of buyers and we accomplish this by staging and assisting with the design of your home while it's being marketed.

What Our Home Stager Does

A home stager is similar to an interior decorator. Greta's expertise is in planning and selecting colors in a way that makes your home look it's best.

A good home stager brings a few extra things to the table.  The stager is not focused on creating a home that suits your personal taste and needs, but rather on making your home appeal to a broader range of tastes.

Staging allows sellers to show buyers the home's potential without making them use their imagination.  If a home is empty and without furniture, or cluttered and outdated, it can be difficult to see how comfortable your home truly can be.

Staging a home makes it easier for buyers to understand how they themselves could use the space.

Other benefits include:

  • Faster sales time - reduced time on market
  • Most attractive sales price
  • Professional images - staged homes look better in advertising
  • Attract a broader range of buyers
  • Buyers view staged homes as well cared for properties
  • Home Inspectors view staged homes as cared for properties
  • Appraisers are more likely to appraise staged homes at full value
